Scholarships for Women

Showing its commitment to employees, Avon gives away scholarships through the Avon Scholarship Program for Representatives. In order to qualify for the Avon Scholarship Program for Representatives, applicants must be an Avon representative and be working towards continuing their education at an institution of higher learning. One-time awards are distributed in increments of $1,000 or $2,000, depending on whether the candidate is working at part-time or full-time study.
The Adoption Option Scholarship is a financial opportunity for women who have exercised the option to give their child up for adoption. A $1,500 scholarship is awarded to the Adoption Option Scholarship winner. To qualify, applicants must be birth mothers who have placed a child for adoption, Minnesota residents, enrolled in an institution of higher learning, and an essay discussing how adoption has affected your life and future career plans.
In an effort to drive creativity and career success, the United Divas Creative Scholarship gives young women the opportunity to fund their inspiring education with a $1,000 scholarship. To apply for the United Divas Creative Scholarship, applicants must first submit an application.
There is a final review process during which semi-finalists are required to submit more information and documents. Additional materials include an official transcript from the undergraduate institution. Graduate students are required to submit a copy of the current transcript as well as an undergraduate transcript. Also, two letters of recommendation are necessary from a faculty member or employer who can attest to leadership or academic achievements. Finally, a Student Aid Report or Institutional Student Information Report is necessary to complete the final application for the United Divas Creative Scholarship.
The Mary Macey Scholarship is funded by the Women Grocers of America. In an effort to keep America healthy, the foundation awards $1,000 scholarships to applicant winners. Applicants for the Mary Macey Scholarship can range from independent retail or wholesale employees as well as their family members, regardless of membership in the Women Grocers of America.
In order to qualify for the Mary Macey Scholarship, applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and must be beginning sophomore year or continuing education students in a good standing two-year, Bachelor, or graduate degree program.
