The $500 “Because College is Expensive” Scholarship is open to all students (seniors in high school, current undergrads and grad students) and those planning on enrolling within 12 months. The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest is available to high school seniors and students currently enrolled in a college or university. You must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) which raises awareness of the severity of the consequences of drunk driving among your peers to qualify for this award. The video must be uploaded to YouTube and be no longer than three minutes long.

Available to: Ages 13-25
Award Amount: $1,000

The Tenshon Scholarship is available to students who are interested in the fields of architecture, design, and/or engineering. To be considered, you must design a unique shade sail structure using Tenshon’s standard sized shade sails.

Help local libraries by playing a fun, interactive game on your phone! Sign up to play a texting game where you’ll use your reading skills to solve puzzles. AFSA Second Chance Scholarship Contest

Deadline: 8/26/16
Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000

The AFSA Second Chance Scholarship Contest is open to students pursuing a college degree or trade school education. You must read the “Fire Sprinkler Essay” then take a ten – question multiple choice test to be eligible for this award.

For each question answered incorrectly, you will be given one more chance at the end of the exam to answer those questions correctly. A total of five entries into the drawing is possible if you answer all ten questions correctly.

Clubs of America Scholarship Award

Available to: College Freshmen through Graduate Students, Year 5
Award Amount: $1,000

The Clubs of America Scholarship Award is available to currently enrolled students who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must submit an essay of at least 600 words about your career aspirations and how your current course load will help you achieve success. YouTube video submissions are also accepted and should be no longer than five minutes.

The Ventures Scholars Program is open to underrepresented and first-generation college-bound students.

The CKSF Scholarships are available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in the U.S. You must register to participate in scholarship quizzes that test your knowledge of topics ranging from general “common knowledge” to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies. You will be scored based on a combination of time and accuracy. Students with the highest scores at the end of each competition win.
