The Carolyn’s Compassionate Children College Scholarship is for childhood survivors of cancer. While there are multiple Carolyn’s Compassionate Children College Scholarship, only one application is needed to apply. Carolyn’s Compassionate Children College Scholarship is awarded based on a commitment to education, community and hope.
The Joshua Gomes Memorial Scholarship is for students who are HIV Positive or have AIDS. Each Joshua Gomes Memorial Scholarship is worth $1,000. To be eligible, students must be HIF Positive or have AIDS, accepted into a U.S. college or technical institute and enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program.
In order to apply to the Joshua Gomes Memorial Scholarship, students must submit a letter from their doctor verifying condition, official high school or college transcripts, letter of acceptance from the college, three letters of recommendation, a recent photograph and a 500-word essay.
The Kaela Anderson Memorial Foundation Scholarship is an award for students affected by Moebius Syndrome. To apply, students must download and complete an application from the Kaela Anderson Memorial Foundation website. Eligible applicants to the Kaela Anderson Memorial Foundation Scholarship must be a U.S. Citizen, a high school senior or graduate and enrolled in an accredited college or vocational school.
The L.I.F.E. Scholarship is for students living with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Applicants to the L.I.F.E. Scholarship must be working toward a degree at an accredited institution, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and involved in at least one extracurricular activity.
To apply for the L.I.F.E. Scholarship, applicants must submit a letter from a physician confirming diagnosis, one letter of recommendation, official transcripts, an essay of at least 500 words on “How Lupus Has Affected My Life” and an application form.
