Scholarship Spotlight: The New Threats to Freedom Essay Contest

The New Threats to Freedom Essay Contest is open to students pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in the United States.
To be considered for the short form contest, you must submit a three to five minute video, or a 300 – 500 word response to one of three videos provided, which discuss topics in the book, New Threats to Freedom. One winner will win a $5,000 scholarship.
For the long form contest, you must submit a 2000 – 3000 word counter argument to one of three essays that appear in New Threats to Freedom. It doesn’t matter whether you agree with the video’s content or not, entries will be judged on the creativity and the quality of the ideas presented. Make the judges think about these issues in a new way. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place in the form of a $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000 scholarship.
