Provided by AIDS Action. the Pedro Zamora Public Policy Fellowship is open to young professionals, undergraduate and graduate students who seek experience in HIV-related public policy and government affairs.

You must have strong research, writing and organizational skills and a willingness to work in a professional office. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is critical.

Familiarity with HIV-related issues and the legislative process is preferred.

People of color, women, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals, and HIV positive individuals are encouraged to apply.

The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program at the International Forum for Democratic Studies is open to students with a M.A. degree (or a B.A. degree plus two years of work experience) in political science or a related field.

Applicants will have a keen interest in democracy and human rights; international development, the social sciences, or area studies; possess excellent research and writing skills and demonstrate professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
