The John A. Lent Scholarship in Comic Studies is open to current undergraduate and graduate students who have authored or are currently in the process of authoring research on comics. Preference is given to students currently working toward a master’s or doctorate degree.
Each application is judged by a three-person committee and requires an excerpt from the project that does not exceed 20 pages, a brief cover letter describing the applicant and project as well as a resume, and a brief letter of reference on school letterhead from a professor or adviser.
