Get to work designers and you could earn yourself $2,000. Universal design is defined as a discipline by which to create solutions, design spaces, and develop products that suit the needs of all users throughout their life cycle. The Irma Dobkin Universal Design Grant is open to individuals involved with universal design.
This grant is awarded to an individual working independently and seeking more involvement in the field of universal design in one of the following areas: product development, design projects, education, or marketing. Applicants must be college freshman through grad student – (fifth year). Applicants must submit a completed application along with a 300-500 word essay explaining your background, reason for pursuing this grant. For rules of entry and more information visit ifdaef.org.
