Attend DoSomething's Boot Camp -- August 18
August 17, 2012
Saturday, August 18th DoSomething.org is streaming live from our LA Boot Camp! DoSomething.org Boot Camps bring together a diverse group of young community leaders, activists and social entrepreneurs for a day of networking and training dedicated to giving each attendee, age 25 and under, the tools to grow and sustain their community action ideas, projects and organizations. With just an internet connection, young leaders and activists all over can now participate in these how-to sessions on starting and managing projects, through our live videostream. The last time we hosted our Boot Camp via videostream we had over 15,000 viewers participating and engaging in these dynamic sessions. We want to help as many young people as possible, and offer this free resource and to do that, we need your help!
We love teens. They are creative, active, wired…and frustrated that our world is so messed up. DoSomething.org harnesses that awesome energy and unleashes it on causes teens care about. Almost every week, we launch a new national campaign. The call to action is always something that has a real impact and doesn’t require money, an adult, or a car. With a goal of 5 million active members by 2015, DoSomething.org is one of the largest organizations in the US for teens and social change. Join us at www.DoSomething.org or text “join” to 38383.
