Show off your slasher skills this Halloween – on a pumpkin, of course.

The Wholesale Halloween Costumes Scholarship – Pumpkin Carving Contest is available to students enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college within the United States.

If you’re looking to be a mad scientist in a lab, this one may be for you!

The Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Graduate Scholarship is available to graduate students enrolled in an NAACLS accredited medical laboratory science, medical technology, clinical laboratory science program.

You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a U.S citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for this award.

Union Internationale de la Marionnette-USA Scholarship

Available to: College Freshman to Graduate Year 5

Attention, puppet enthusiasts!

The UNIMA-USA Scholarship is available to members of the Union Internationale de la Marionnette (UNIMA)-USA.

You must be a North American citizen over the age of 18 and a second-level puppeteer (i.e. some experience and/or a university degree).

This award is to support study with a recognized puppetry professional or professional program outside of North America.

To apply, you must indicate professional experience, provide three letters of recommendation from professionals in your field, photos of your completed work, indication of motivation for studying and information about the program or professional with whom you intend to study.

Ouimet Scholarship

Who ever thought your brief stint as a caddie would pay off?

The Ouimet Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of service to golf as caddies or helpers in the pro shop.

Students who have completed at least two years in course superintendent operations at a Massachusetts club are also eligible to apply.

The Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow Award is available to male high school seniors and college students who are United States Bowling Congress members.

The Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors and currently-enrolled college students.

You must be a member of the United States Bowling Congress in good standing and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

Corrosion In Motion Student Competition

Available to: High School Freshman to Graduate Year 5

Get creative with a corrosion essay! (That’s one sentence we’ve never written before.)

The Corrosion In Motion Student Competition is open to full-time high school and college students.

To enter, you must explain, in a four-minute video, how a structure can be impacted by corrosion, taking into account the material, composition of the structure, as well as the environment where it is located.

Submissions can be serious or humorous, but should be thoughtful, creative and original.

Rolex Scholarship

If finding sunken ships and treasure is your ultimate dream, this may be your scholarship gem.

The Rolex Scholarship is available to students who are between the ages of 21 and 26. You must not have earned a graduate degree and have not yet chosen a clearly defined career path in order to be considered for this award.

Certification as a Rescue Diver or equivalent with a minimum of 25 dives within the past two years is also required.

Zolp Scholarship – Loyola University

Calling all Zolps! Actually, not really. Calling some Zolps!

The Zolp Scholarship is available to students accepted to Loyola University Chicago. You must be Catholic and your legal last name must be Zolp.

Proof of name is required on a birth certificate and baptismal or confirmation certificates.

These are endowed scholarships and the amount awarded is dependent upon the number of individual recipients each year.

Who wants to become a mad scientist? Or, a happy scientist?

The Proton OnSite Scholarship is available to currently enrolled high school seniors.

You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be planning to major in a science or technology related field to qualify for this award.

Tall Clubs International Scholarship

For students a cut above the rest – literally.

The Tall Clubs International Scholarship is available to freshmen students who are above average height (at least 5’10" for women and at least 6’2" for men).

In order to apply, you must contact your local TCI Member Club to request sponsorship. You must be under the age of 21 and entering your first year of college in order to qualify for this award.

American Board of Funeral Service Education National Scholarship

Available to: College Freshman through Graduate Students, Year 5

There are even scholarships for those who feel the study of death is their calling.

The American Board of Funeral Service Education National Scholarship is open to students who are pursuing study in a program in funeral service or mortuary science education in an ABFSE-accredited program.

To be considered for this award, you must have completed at least one semester/quarter of study and have at least one remaining before graduation.

This award is based on financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, recommendations and the articulateness of the application itself. U.S. citizenship is also required.

American Board of Funeral Service Education Post-Graduate Scholarship

Obtaining a graduate degree in studies related to death? At least it’s probably a pretty quiet work environment.

The American Board of Funeral Service Education Post-Graduate Scholarship is open to graduate students actively employed as faculty members of a program in funeral service or mortuary science education accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education.

Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation, resume, proof of enrollment in a graduate program and demonstrate U.S. citizenship to apply.

American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship

Halloween is a time to eat, drink and be scary. This scholarship can help you fulfill one of those tasks.

The American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, or a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry.

Undergraduate students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and graduate students must have a minimum 3.2 GPA to be considered for this award.

A letter of intent as it relates to a future career in the wine or grade industry and two letters of recommendation are also required.

The Holography Internship is available to students with an interest in holography. You will assist with work in a laser lab creating and copying holograms.
