Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship
The Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship is available to high school seniors from the six New England states who have participated in a varsity sport.
You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to enroll at a two – or four – year college / university to be considered for this award. You must also demonstrate involvement in volunteer activities and explain in 250 words or less how you have demonstrated good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Open to: High school seniors from New England
Amount: $5,000
Deadline: February 1, 2012
