Apply for the "A Voice for Animals" High School Essay Contest.

The “A Voice for Animals” Essay Contest is open to high school and home schooled students who are under the age of 19.
To be eligible, you must establish or become involved with a project that address either the mistreatment of one animal species or one cause of animal suffering, or the preservation of one species threatened with extinction.
Your project must be documented in the form of an original essay accompanied by photographs, a digital photo journal / album, or an original video.
Deadline: July 31, 2012

All the people saying they'll write the essay; did you not read the guidelines? It says you must be part of a project or create a project that is trying to rectify the issue you are writing about. Odds are, you won't be doing that within a month or two.

Uhh..the time is too short... No harm to try,,,,but it might take a long time for me to write an essay....maximum:1500!!! does it mean that I have to write at least 1000 words? Jesus!

Do you think we really need citations? I already know a lot about animal cruelty after doing essays on it for years... so I don't really need to look anything up.

@ GianniM9 Anyone in high school under the age of 19 can enter. If you're a freshman, which is probably why you're inquiring about it, then yes, you're eligible...just like it says in the first paragraph.
