The MSNBC Primetime Internship is available to students with an interest in a career in media or broadcasting. You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s/masters program at an accredited college or university, be at least 18 years or older and current sophomore standing or above.

You will help with production elements for live, talk-oriented programming. You will work with producers to produce elements of the show such as graphics, tape cuts and scripts. You will also get some experience working in the control room. Knowledge of current events, politics and history is required, some television experience is preferred.

You must be a quick learner, detail oriented, work well under pressure and have the ability to handle many tasks at once to qualify for this position.
