July 4th Shout for Cash Winner Announced!
FastWeb’s Shout for Cash Contest went off with fireworks on July 4th. Nearly 16,000 users logged in for a chance to win $500.
In celebration of our freedom of speech and the new FastWeb Discussions channel, FastWeb gave away $500 in our Shout for Cash Contest to one lucky FastWeb user who logged in to www.fastweb.com on July 4th, 2009. The lucky winner was chosen at random.
So, what lucky FastWeb user took the $500 prize? (Drum roll please…) Katie H. from Springfield, Tennessee.
Katie is a high school junior at Springfield High School. With a 4.0, Katie will be the first in her family to attend college. She’s interested in possibly studying Spanish Language and Literature, Business Administration or Business Management.

Really wanted that, but happy it went to someone else that really deserves it. Being the first in your family may help in getting other scholarships-- don't forget to look!
I would definately say study Spanish or any other language, like Italian or French; this world of diverse businesses needs individuals capable of conversing in different languages.
Would recommend looking at each field of Business and seeing what kind of jobs are available. May help in deciding which you would like to choose; I personally chose Business Admin because I want to be involved in Human Resources.

congrats! i advice you to save it til you're in college...that's when you'll need it the most...and then you won't be like me...trying to find last minute scholarships and contests to fullfill my college expenses
