July 4th Shout for Cash Winner Announced!
FastWeb’s Shout for Cash Contest went off with fireworks on July 4th. Nearly 16,000 users logged in for a chance to win $500.
In celebration of our freedom of speech and the new FastWeb Discussions channel, FastWeb gave away $500 in our Shout for Cash Contest to one lucky FastWeb user who logged in to www.fastweb.com on July 4th, 2009. The lucky winner was chosen at random.
So, what lucky FastWeb user took the $500 prize? (Drum roll please…) Katie H. from Springfield, Tennessee.
Katie is a high school junior at Springfield High School. With a 4.0, Katie will be the first in her family to attend college. She’s interested in possibly studying Spanish Language and Literature, Business Administration or Business Management.
Congratulations to Katie and thanks to everyone who participated in the Shout for Cash Contest.
Stay tuned to FastWeb for more scholarships and contests that can help put YOU through school.

I hope that's not "Katie" in the photo wearing only a hat!! If not, the photo is a bit inappropriate although I do send congratulation to Katie.

Congratulations Katie! Dual enrollment courses are great for getting a head start. I hope you find the best major and career for you and you can be a great example for others whose family never went to college, that it is possible and that it is a very wise decision. I wish you the best!

hello everyone!
Thank you for the many congratulations!
For the record, that is not me in the picture...it is my fault, I have been slow to send one in.
To those who think I'm undeserving, I wish you the best in finding other scholarships...this money will be going towards Dual college classes which I am taking during my senior year...
Thank you Fastweb! =]
