Provided by: Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW)
The C.R.O.W. Externship for Natural Science Students is available to natural science students and others interested in wildlife rehabilitation. Externships, which are a minimum of four weeks in length, are conducted at the non-profit C.R.O.W. hospital's facilities in southwest Florida, and students will be able to participate in many aspects of the center's work while being supervised by a full-time staff veterinarian. Duties include cleaning compounds, diet preparation, orphan hand-rearing, patient handling, wildlife rescues and releases, and other projects.
