Los Angeles County Museum of Art - Collections Management Internship

Description

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art offers a Collections Management Internship to junior, senior and graduate students who are studying art history, anthropology, archaeology, history, museum studies, library science and information management. Interns take part in preparing collection information for website release, cataloguing artwork and assisting staff in making artwork accessible to researchers, students, and the general public over the Internet. Participants must commit to working 240 hours for a minimum 14 weeks. Academic credit may be available. Preference is given to students who express serious interest in pursuing a museum career.
