Minneapolis Institute of Arts - Internship

Description

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students interested in museum work. Interns work 20 hours per week for a duration anywhere from one to 12 months and participate in project-oriented work within a specific department. Participants become familiar with various functions, programs and departments of the museum and can arrange to earn academic credit for their volunteer work. Possible departments include: curatorial, education, external affairs, and development. Candidates must possess skills, interests, or experiences relevant to museum work to be considered. You must also submit an essay, resume, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. The completion of at least two years of college is also required.
