Shedd Aquarium Fishes Internship

The Shedd Aquarium Fishes Internship is available to undergraduate students who are studying aquatic science or ichthyology. Interns gain firsthand experience in data collection, food preparation, exhibit maintenance and daily husbandry duties. Interns may also work towards accomplishing a research, observational or school project. You must be at least 18 years old and commit to working a minimum of 24 - 40 hours per week for three months. Also, you must have had a TB test within the last 12 months, or are willing to get tested; have a valid driver's license;, and be able to regularly lift at least 60 pounds. Additionally, you must have good hearing, visual, communication, and writing skills.
