The Kris S. Jarantoski Internship in Professional Horticulture at the Chicago Botanic Garden is available to college students in a horticulture or related program with an interest in public horticulture. During this one year internship, interns will gain experience in public garden operations and develop skills required to become a botanic garden leader. Duties will vary throughout the year but will include nursery and greenhouse plant production, plant health care, maintenance, conservation, breeding and day-to-day garden operations. You must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
