The Art Institute of Chicago offers a Print and Drawing Internship for college-level juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Interns gain first-hand experience in prints and drawings, work under the guidance of curators or department heads and assist in routine departmental work including research. Possible projects include curatorial research projects, collection cataloging, and study room monitoring. Candidates must be majoring in art history or studio art and have completed at least two years of college-level coursework in art history and/or studio art. You must also possess good writing and computer skills, language skills in one or more foreign languages (French, Italian, German), have database experience, and be flexible to fit program requirements (minimum 14 hours per week). College credit is available.
